If you are an existing patient at Buckeye Dermatology and need a refill of a prescription, please contact your pharmacy. The pharmacist will call or fax us a refill request. Your doctor will review the request, and we will call or fax a response back to the pharmacist. This is usually done within 24 hours from the time of the initial request. This method is much more efficient than calling the office.
If your prescription request requires a prior authorization, please allow 7 to 10 days for our office to seek approval from your insurance company. Please note that it is office policy not to authorize refills if a patient has not been seen in the office in over a year or if appointments have been missed.
